What is Parkour?

Parkour (a20160418_123014_020lso known as free running) is a training discipline using movement through space. P20160209_173403ractitioners aim to get from A to B in the most efficient way possible. This is done using only the human body and the surroundings for propulsion, with a focus on maintaining as much momentum as possible while still remaining in control. Parkour combines ideas from dance/breakdancing, martial arts, stuntwork, acrobatics and gymnastics with flow and a runner’s drive.
